Book review: The Sluts

The Sluts by Dennis Cooper

The format of this book is cool, I love the reviews and being able to try and suss out the truth from fact. That said it was a bit hard to picture anyone or have any details because they were just names on a page, but I think it was an effective was to start the book, and just as it became a bit tiring, the format switched.

While the contents of the book are a bit extreme, putting it in this format eases that burden a bit, takes some of the graphic nature out of it. 

I didn’t find it to be much other than a very uniquely put together book, but the actual story was a bit repetitive after a while.

If you are looking for something wild to get you out of your slump, this could be it, but check content warnings, it’s basically anything and everything.
