Book review: When no one is watching

When no one is watching by Alyssa Cole

This was very well done. I loved a lot about it, the racism, the two POVS to really show the differences in their experience. Using the people buying up the properties as the antagonists, and the corporation being evil as well.

I think my only issue was the pace, it’s this slow build for the first 50-75% and then it’s break neck, which I guess works for a thriller, but the first half reads much more like fiction, with indepth characters and dynamics.

But I would recommend it.

4/5
