Walk the Blue Fields by Claire Keegan 

Her writing is fantastic as always. The first three shorts were my favorite, the second last two my least, but still good.

I think most short story collections end up being a 4 for me because there’s always some I don’t enjoy as much, but realistically this was an exquisite collection by an excellent author. Her work feels almost perfect, what negative could I possibly say. Short, concise and emotionally charged, while not soaking in the feelings.
