It was fine, the kind of book you read in one sitting and don’t think about again.

The characters aren’t great, interesting, or anything special, and the way they react to things feels so odd. 

The writing isn’t super effective as horror goes: tension wasn’t built to scare level, and I couldn’t really picture much.

Not really worth it, in my opinion.
