The Quiet Tenant by Clémence Michallon
While the story itself isn’t new or very surprising, the way it’s told is what I enjoyed. It was almost three different genres depending on who’s perspective it was (thriller, fiction, and romance). As I was reading I was looking forward to where the story would go and how things would get resolved.
The pace was quick since there were three different narrators and it always switched at seemingly perfect moments.
I found this quite enjoyable as an audiobook.
I loved the way we got to see how women experience this kind of violence from all sides and it was very well done, no one is the perfect victim.
One of the better thrillers I’ve read for sure.
