One Last stop by Casey McQuinston
This was good, I liked the main characters past, and how it helped push the story forward. The narrator was great, and I found the romance pretty solid.
But there’s a lull, where it goes on a hit long and I’m ready for it to be over. By the time I was around 40%, I felt more like I should’ve been 70% in, like it was 3x longer than it needed to be.
I did enjoy, but it was just too long and drawn out for me. It got a little dull in the middle and had me listening to others things instead, bored by it.
No surprises here for me, but overall decent.
Also important to note the audiobook was probably a 3, the narrator brings it to life. Reading the actual book it’s not quite as good, the words don’t dance or transport me.
