The Radium Girls by Kate Moore

I was obsessed with this book, with the Radium girls story. So many times the evidence was there, and then buried. Over and over. The company continuously putting profits over people’s lives. It’s infuriating, but an interesting read

Sometimes the writing was a bit to nudge nudge, wink wink for me — Trying to let you know what was coming, but like chill. Take your time with the unfolding and stop hinting. We know.

But the story and the facts were so interesting that I couldn’t stop myself from reading it.
