If you haven’t read anything by this author you are missing out. The way she so effortlessly weaves a tale so quickly and yet feels so rich, it’s quite a sight to see.
They usually start a little slow, but there’s enough nuggets to keep you curious. The first bit is overly cheery and perfect and slowly descends into madness.
I had no idea where this was going but I kept wanting to put it down and wonder and think and those are my favorite types of books, where I want it to last.
Small details like Sophia being the only character with a first name, every one else is Mrs. Or Mr.
The constant asking of are you in a happy in a place so full of rules – no suffering allowed, especially not for women.
There is so much to get out of this 100 page book it’s incredible. I can’t say enough good things.
